A deleted scene from Scary Movie 6 has been released, revealing a longer parody that combines the unsettling smiles of Smile 2 with the deadly rules of Squid Game.

The scene follows Cindy as she encounters a large group of Ghostface killers standing together in matching black robes.

Instead of immediately attacking, the masked figures begin moving toward her with exaggerated smiles beneath their Ghostface masks. Their synchronized movements parody the disturbing crowd sequence from Smile 2, where smiling figures close in on the central character.

The sequence then shifts into a Squid Game-style challenge.

A masked guard appears and begins watching the approaching Ghostface group as though they are participating in a deadly version of Red Light, Green Light. Any killer caught moving at the wrong moment is eliminated.

The combination turns two recognizable modern horror and television images into one extended Scary Movie joke.

The Smile 2 and Squid Game material was filmed for the movie but did not appear in the theatrical version released in June.

Reports about the removed footage previously described Cindy being surrounded by smiling Ghostface killers moving together as a group. The same sequence included a Squid Game guard firing at anyone caught moving toward her.

Scary Movie 6 reunites Anna Faris as Cindy, Regina Hall as Brenda, Marlon Wayans as Shorty and Shawn Wayans as Ray.

The film continues the franchise’s tradition of combining characters and scenes from different horror movies, television series and popular franchises into exaggerated comedy sequences.

Other targets in the latest installment include Scream, M3GAN, The Substance, Sinners, Weapons and several recent horror sequels and reboots.

Michael Tiddes directed the film, with Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Keenen Ivory Wayans, Craig Wayans and Rick Alvarez credited as writers.

Scary Movie 6 opened in theaters on June 5, 2026. Its digital release includes an extended version containing additional jokes, new scenes and an alternate ending.
