Rockstar Games is reminding Grand Theft Auto VI preorder customers that eligible digital purchases include one free month of GTA+.
A new message appearing inside Grand Theft Auto V directs players toward the offer and explains that the complimentary month can be activated after purchasing a digital copy of GTA 6.
The bonus is included with digital purchases of both the Standard Edition and Ultimate Edition made before November 20, 2026.
The redemption process and deadline depend on the platform.
PlayStation 5 players can redeem the free GTA+ month through the GTA+ product page on the PlayStation Store. The offer must be claimed by March 31, 2027.
Xbox Series X|S players must redeem the offer within 180 days of purchasing GTA 6. The bonus appears under the Offers and Credits section of the Microsoft Store.
The free month is limited to one redemption per platform account.
Players who already subscribe to GTA+ can still use the bonus. Once redeemed, the complimentary month is added to the existing membership and pushes the next billing date back by one month.
The membership does not automatically activate when GTA 6 is purchased. Players must manually claim the offer through their platform store.
After the complimentary month ends, GTA+ automatically renews at the regular monthly price unless the player cancels the subscription.
In Canada, GTA+ currently costs CAD $10.99 per month on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Pricing can vary by country and may change over time.
GTA+ provides monthly GTA Online benefits, including GTA$500,000, rotating vehicles and bonuses, access to The Vinewood Club and a selection of Rockstar games.
Physical GTA 6 purchases do not include the free GTA+ month. Rockstar specifies that the offer applies to eligible digital purchases.
Grand Theft Auto VI launches on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
