Sony Pictures has released a new look at Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
The brief clip provides an extreme close-up of the character as he opens his eyes, accompanied by the promotional line, “No Banner… only Hulk.”
The footage appears to tease a more aggressive and uncontrolled version of Hulk than audiences have seen in several of his recent Marvel Cinematic Universe appearances.
Ruffalo returns as Bruce Banner and Hulk alongside Tom Holland’s Peter Parker. The film’s marketing has also shown Hulk becoming involved in a major confrontation with Spider-Man and the Punisher in New York City.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day begins four years after the events of No Way Home. Peter is living alone and fighting crime full-time in a world where nobody remembers his identity, while increasing pressure triggers a dangerous physical transformation.
The film is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and also stars Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Sadie Sink, Tramell Tillman, and Michael Mando.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day arrives exclusively in theaters on July 31, 2026.
