The official Avengers: Doomsday trailer reached 503 million views during its first 24 hours, giving Marvel Studios one of the largest trailer launches in movie history.

The result makes Avengers: Doomsday the second-biggest movie-trailer debut ever recorded.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day currently holds the top position after earning 719 million views during its own first 24 hours.

Avengers: Doomsday also delivered the largest trailer launch in Disney history. It passed the 365 million views earned by the Deadpool & Wolverine Super Bowl teaser in 2024, which included views from the television broadcast.

Marvel Studios released the official trailer on July 20, several days before the company’s major Hall H presentation at San Diego Comic-Con.

The trailer brings together characters from across the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including members of the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, Wakanda and the X-Men.

Robert Downey Jr. appears as Doctor Doom, placing the former Iron Man actor at the center of the next major Avengers conflict.

Chris Evans also returns as Steve Rogers, while Chris Hemsworth appears as Thor. The wider cast includes Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, Florence Pugh, Tom Hiddleston, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen and several other returning Marvel actors.

The 503 million-view launch arrives alongside strong early ticket sales for the film, showing that interest remains high ahead of Marvel’s first large-scale Avengers crossover since Avengers: Endgame.

Avengers: Doomsday opens exclusively in theaters on December 18, 2026.
