Star Trek celebrated six decades of science-fiction storytelling with a major Hall H presentation at San Diego Comic-Con 2026.

The event honored the franchise’s history while also looking ahead to its future. Performers representing several generations of Star Trek appeared as part of the anniversary presentation, bringing together familiar faces from television series spanning the franchise’s long run.

Paramount+ and CBS Studios previously announced that the celebration would include a special introduction from Eugene “Rod” Roddenberry and a panel featuring George Takei, Michael Dorn, Robert Picardo, Connor Trinneer, Cirroc Lofton, Doug Jones, Michelle Hurd, Jerry O’Connell, Christina Chong and Karim Diané.

The Hall H event was also connected to Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, with cast members and executive producers presenting an exclusive look at what lies ahead for the Paramount+ series.

Star Trek first reached television audiences in 1966 and officially marks its 60th anniversary on September 8, 2026. Across six decades, the franchise has expanded through television, films, animation, games, novels, podcasts and live experiences.

The anniversary celebration is continuing throughout 2026 with special events, partnerships, merchandise, fan activities and new Star Trek productions.
