Scary Movie 6 is taking aim at two of 2026’s most talked-about movies with a new pair of parody posters.
The first poster spoofs the supernatural horror film Obsession. It shows a frightened man watching a shadowy figure on television while holding a remote, accompanied by the message, “Watch at home July 21.”
The second poster recreates the visual style of Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. A character stands beneath an enormous wooden horse while the tagline “Too High to Defy” appears above the image.
Both posters promote the digital release of Scary Movie 6, which became available to rent or purchase through major video-on-demand platforms on July 21, 2026.
The horror-comedy opened in theaters on June 5 and brought several original franchise stars back together, including Marlon Wayans as Shorty, Shawn Wayans as Ray, Anna Faris as Cindy and Regina Hall as Brenda.
Scary Movie 6 follows the returning characters as they face another masked killer while the film targets modern horror franchises, legacy sequels, reboots and elevated-horror trends.
Michael Tiddes directed the movie from a screenplay credited to Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Keenen Ivory Wayans, Craig Wayans and Rick Alvarez.
The new posters continue the franchise’s tradition of transforming recognizable movie marketing into jokes. This time, the campaign uses the unsettling imagery of Obsession and the large-scale historical presentation of The Odyssey to promote the movie’s home release.
Scary Movie 6 is now available through participating digital retailers. A Paramount+ subscription-streaming date has not yet been officially announced.
