Universal Studios has announced that Evil Dead Burn will become an all-new haunted house at Halloween Horror Nights 2026 in both Orlando and Hollywood.

The experience is inspired by Evil Dead Burn, the latest movie in the long-running horror franchise.

Guests will enter the Price family’s secluded vacation home in the woods, where the discovery of the Book of the Dead unleashes a growing supernatural nightmare.

As visitors move deeper through the house, they will encounter possessed victims known as Deadites and scenes based on some of the film’s most frightening moments.

Universal describes the experience as a firsthand journey through the movie, with the danger becoming more intense as guests move through the family home and surrounding locations.

The Evil Dead franchise began with the original 1981 film and became known for combining violent supernatural horror with dark comedy.

Most stories in the series involve the Book of the Dead, an ancient text capable of summoning demonic forces that possess and transform their victims.

Evil Dead Burn continues that history with a new group of characters facing the franchise’s demonic threat inside an isolated location.

The haunted house will appear at both major Halloween Horror Nights events.

Halloween Horror Nights begins at Universal Orlando Resort on August 28, 2026, and runs on select nights through November 1.

Universal Studios Hollywood begins its event on September 3, with select nights also continuing through November 1.

Universal is also releasing limited-edition Evil Dead Burn merchandise connected to the haunted house, including a shirt, hat and collectible acrylic figure.

Additional Halloween Horror Nights houses and event details will be announced as the season approaches.
