Tom Henderson believes Rockstar Games could release the third Grand Theft Auto VI trailer on August 6.

Henderson shared the date during an episode of Insider Gaming Weekly while discussing when Rockstar might provide its next major look at the highly anticipated game.

He made it clear that August 6 is his personal prediction and not information received from an internal Rockstar or Take-Two source.

His reasoning is connected to Take-Two Interactive’s upcoming financial results. The company has scheduled its first-quarter fiscal 2027 earnings conference call for August 7, one day after Henderson’s predicted trailer date.

A major GTA VI marketing update before the call could give Take-Two fresh information to discuss with investors, but neither Take-Two nor Rockstar has indicated that a new trailer will accompany the financial report.

Henderson previously predicted that Rockstar’s next substantial GTA VI reveal could arrive in early August. His latest comments narrow that prediction to a specific date, although he continues to describe it as an educated guess.

Rockstar has not officially announced GTA VI Trailer 3. The game’s official website currently lists Trailer 2 as its most recent video, and no countdown or premiere has been published for another trailer.

It is also unknown what Rockstar’s next video would show. The company has not confirmed whether it will be another story trailer, a gameplay presentation or a broader overview of Vice City and the state of Leonida.

Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to release on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-orders are currently available.

Until Rockstar makes an official announcement, August 6 should be treated as a prediction rather than a confirmed Trailer 3 release date.
