Tom Cruise has shared his praise for Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey after watching the mythic action epic in a movie theater.

Cruise posted a photo of himself beside promotional artwork for the film and thanked Nolan, producer Emma Thomas, and the entire cast and crew for the experience.

He described it as an amazing night at the movies and said he could not wait to watch the film again.

The Odyssey is written and directed by Christopher Nolan and adapts Homer’s foundational story for the big screen using new IMAX film technology.

Matt Damon leads the cast alongside Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Zendaya, and Charlize Theron.

The Odyssey opened in theaters on July 17, 2026.
