Fortnite has launched a new Ranked season with another collection of competitive rewards for players to unlock.

Players can climb through Fortnite’s Ranked tiers and receive new cosmetic rewards as they reach specific milestones during the season.

One of the main additions is the Axe of Unreal, a progressive Ranked reward earned by reaching Unreal rank.

Battle Royale and Reload each feature their own version of the Axe of Unreal, meaning players can pursue separate rewards across the two Ranked experiences.

Epic Games previously explained that reaching Unreal for the first time during an eligible season unlocks the base version of the Axe. Reaching Unreal again in later seasons unlocks additional tiers for the cosmetic.

Fortnite’s standard Ranked progression runs from Bronze through Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Elite, Champion and Unreal.

Battle Royale, Zero Build and Reload maintain separate Ranked progression, so a player’s position in one mode does not automatically affect their rank in another.

The new season also introduces another set of Map Mastery Quests.

Completing these challenges allows players to earn additional cosmetics and rewards connected to the current map and season.

A new Victory Umbrella is also available. Players can earn it by securing a Victory Royale in either a Ranked or Unranked match.

That allows players who do not regularly compete in Ranked to still unlock the seasonal umbrella through standard matches.

The new rewards give players several progression paths, including climbing the Ranked ladder, completing Map Mastery challenges and earning a Victory Royale.

Epic regularly refreshes Ranked rewards when a new competitive period begins, while ranks partially reset based on each player’s previous performance.

The new Ranked season and its rewards are available now across Fortnite’s supported platforms.
