Warner Bros. Pictures Animation has released the first teaser for Daffy Season, a new Looney Tunes animated short headed to theaters later this year.

The short follows Daffy Duck as his familiar conflict with Elmer Fudd takes an unexpected turn. Instead of focusing on hunting season, Elmer becomes completely absorbed in soccer, leaving Daffy trapped in an increasingly strange and nightmarish situation.

Daffy Season marks the Looney Tunes characters’ return to theatrical shorts and is directed by Todd Wilderman and Hamish Grieve.

The short will play in theaters alongside Warner Bros. Pictures Animation’s The Cat in the Hat beginning November 6, 2026.
