New promotional posters have been revealed for Sekiro: No Defeat, the upcoming animated adaptation of FromSoftware’s acclaimed action game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
The new artwork places the spotlight on Wolf and Kuro, two central characters whose relationship drives the story. Wolf is a skilled shinobi sworn to protect Kuro, the Divine Heir whose blood carries the power of immortality.
Sekiro: No Defeat is being produced as a fully hand-drawn 2D anime film by animation studio Qzil.la. Kenichi Kutsuna directs the project, with Takuya Sato handling the screenplay and Takahiro Kishida serving as character designer.
The film will begin a limited three-week theatrical run in Japan on September 4, 2026. Crunchyroll has also confirmed plans to stream Sekiro: No Defeat internationally, although an exact streaming date has not yet been announced.
Daisuke Namikawa returns as the voice of Wolf, while Miyuki Sato voices Kuro and Kenjiro Tsuda voices Genichiro Ashina.
